How do we know you're any good?
The short answers is: Unless you've seen and heard our band perform - You don't!

All I can assure you is that; we are all experienced and professional musicians, most of us are classically trained, have played with name bands, orchestras and in West End musicals, and put one hell of a lot of effort in to our performance and show.
Left of the Dial was formed in 2007 by bassist Tim Long and percussionist Steve Wyse who sort the best musicians and performers in their home region of east and mid Kent - "It was a struggle to get everyone onboard... However, we did it, and as well as enjoying playing as a band, Left of the Dial have become close friends".

What regions do you cover?
We are happy to play anywhere in Europe! The band is based in London and Kent. For venues more than 3 hours journey time from London, we do charge a fee for the overnight accommodation of 6 people.

Can we hire the band via an entertainment agency?
You can! Left of the Dial work through two agencies, one in London, one in Surrey. We reckon though, that by finding this page, you know what you're looking for, you've done your homework and viewed other artist's websites, then concluded that LotD play the music that you and you're guests will all enjoy. Booking us direct saves around 15%-20%.

What equipment will you bring?
The band supplies a high quality 3Kw Electro-Voice PA system and a 4Kw lighting rig which is suitable for most function rooms/small halls - up to around 500 guests. We can supply a larger sound system with extra lighting plus engineers - costs depends on the size of your venue.
All equipment is PAT tested.

Are You Insured?
We have £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance through Aviva and instruments are insured via The Musicians Union.

Booking costs?
It is difficult to give a quote without knowing a little about your event. Many things affect the cost of hiring the band including size and location of the venue, the length of time you would like us to play and any extra sound system/lighting etc., we'll need to bring.
